Cuninico, where the forest is dyed Black
In June 2014, North Peruvian Pipeline pouring affecting the life of the community Cuninico of indigenous ethnic Kukama Kukamiria in the Peruvian Amazon, polluting the waters of the Maranon River. The spillage expanded with the coming of the rainy season and over-spilled the containment barriers. For the community water is immeasurably important because they use the river water in daily life and it is contaminated. The people suffer disease and nutritional problems. The people have paid for water sample tests whilst the Company and the government hide the report.
